Whether you're an amateur or a professional, there are some things every bartender needs. Bartending tools are almost as important as the spirits and glasses you select. A complete bartending tools kit may include many other items to make preparation easier or items for less common specialty drinks. The cocktail shaker is the quintessential tool in a bartending kit. You can try to make drinks without it but your martinis just won’t be up to James Bond standards. What makes a good cocktail shaker? The cap should fit securely over the built-in strainer and the built-in strainer needs to maintain a tight seal on top of the metal tin. You wouldn’t want to be shaking a drink and suddenly have liquid spewing out.
Pro tip: Always put the strainer on the tin first then the cap. If you place the cap on the strainer first then you will not have a good seal.

Green Tea Tokyo
‧ 2 oz White Rum

‧ 1 oz Monin Pure Cane Sweetener Syrup
‧ Few sprigs of fresh mint
‧ 6 oz hot brewed Tea Zone Green Tea
1. Use the cocktail jigger to measure out the rum and syrups then add all the ingredients into a mug. Use the bar spoon to stir.
2. Allow it to steep for at least 1-2 minutes then enjoy!
