15 Unique Fall Flavor Combinations

By: Ireland Lee

Fall is a season with distinct flavors (looking at you PSL) associated with it, allowing people to be able to attach memories to the season. Here are 15 creative fall drink ideas to combine different autumn flavors and bring new meaning to your favorite season! Below you’ll also be able to find 7 recipes for some of the combinations that will make them come alive.

*There is a recipe available for these flavors.

1. Pumpkin Crème Brûlée Latte *
The sweet pumpkin notes with the richness of crème brûlée and coffee is simply perfection. Crème brûlée adds a sweet caramel taste to the creamy pumpkin flavor. It’s a taste that will remind you of Fall in Paris. Instead of ooh-la-la, you’ll be saying ooh-fall-fall.

2. Maple Apple Coconut Milkshake *
Inspired by the Bath and Body Works candle scent, we are providing you with a fall drink to channel the popular Fall candle. This way you can enjoy the scrumptious combination through smell and taste. It will leave you feeling like you are on a Thanksgiving vacation on a tropical island.

3. Pumpkin Praline Milk Tea with Boba
We are altering the classic milk tea to change with the season. Adding pumpkin and praline will provide notes of sweet pumpkin and nutty flavors. To make it even better, adding boba to the mixture can provide an additional texture to die for! Selecting a dark colored boba from a boba supply store versus a white or crystal will add that color contrast against the orange tinge of the drink.

4. Pumpkin Spice Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte *
What is more synonymous for Autumn than a Pumpkin Spice Latte? Create another level of flavor for this fall drink classic. We suggest adding a dash of brown sugar cinnamon into the mix. By doing this, it sends the popular phenomenon to new heights!

5. Pumpkin Almond Roca Chai Latte
It’s clear already that pumpkin goes great with nutty flavors. That’s why it’s a no-brainer to pour in Almond Roca flavored syrup into your next fall drink. Sweet, nutty, chocolatey, and spicy? All the things we love! Your tastebuds will no longer be the same.

6. Pumpkin Spice Extreme Toffee Coffee Frappe
Sweet, sweet Cappuccine. This Extreme Toffee Coffee Frappe Mix together with pumpkin spice provides a warm and cozy feeling, but in the form of a frozen drink. Who doesn’t love a drink that also serves as an oxymoron?

7. Pecan Caramel Amaretto Latte *
Did you know the word ‘amaretto’ comes from the Italian word ‘amaro’ meaning bitter? Amaretto originates from apricot kernels, making the name a perfect fit. Yummy caramel and nutty flavors with notes of apricot and cinnamon make this latte an ultimate recipe for Fall.

8. Gingerbread Root Beer
This recipe is a little more off the beaten path. Adding a pump (or more depending on your taste) of gingerbread syrup to your root beer will bring it up to date for Autumn with a little spice. Many may recognize gingerbread as more of a Winter, or Christmas flavor, but it contains hints of cinnamon and molasses, making it a prefect addition for fall.

9. Pomegranate Candied Orange Cider
Everybody knows that cider is a staple for when it gets cold outside. Adding some pomegranate and candied orange flavor can mix up the long-time traditional drink. Dried oranges are popular for Christmas decorations and baked goods, but we’re bringing it a little earlier this year for this recipe. To ruffle it up some more, instead of the typical cranberry and orange we’re exchanging the cranberry for pomegranate!

10. Marshmallow Pumpkin Latte *
Take a toasted marshmallow flavored syrup to influence that nostalgic feeling of s’mores around the campfire, and mix it with a pumpkin taste that reminds you of Thanksgiving pie. Your latte will provide you with more happy holiday memories than ever before.

11. Cranberry Candied Orange Cider
Sweet and tart, the ultimate duo. Get rid of the candles this fall, and instead fill your house with the aroma of some cranberry candied orange apple cider. Containing notes of sweet, tart fruit and spicy cinnamon the smell alone will leave you wanting more, not to mention the taste!

12. Mocha Blended Coffee with Candied Orange
With National Chocolate Day fall-ing in October, it makes it a perfect addition for this list. Do you remember the nostalgic Terry’s Chocolate Orange Ball? This blended drink will enhance those flavors by using candied orange syrup instead of orange oil.

13. Pumpkin Butterscotch Blended Latte with Sea Salt Foam and Pumpkin Pie Drizzle *
This combination is much better than the butterscotch from the bottom of your grandma’s purse! If you have an enormous sweet tooth, this drink is for you. The pumpkin flavor intensifies that of the butterscotch with the counteracting sea salt that will bring new meaning to Autumn desserts.

14. Chocolate Cranberry MochaBlast Café Latte
Different brands (I.e. Ocean Spray and Brookside) sell chocolate-covered cranberries and blueberries, so why not turn it into a drink?! This recipe gives you a chocolate-flavored coffee with cranberry and chocolate drizzle. It’s a tart, bitter treat to last you all season.

15. Apple Cider with Sea Salt Foam and Caramel Drizzle *
Caramel apple cider with a hint of sea salt foam? Yes, please! Back to that traditional apple cider, but adding caramel for a Halloween mood. To mix it up, we’re adding some Tea Zone Sea Salt Foam for a little extra depth.
