By: Sabrina Huda Sanchez

Visually stunning drinks are great for businesses to create social media buzz, but home DIYers are also sharing amazing beverages that drive excitement and post engagement. The best looking drinks are layered and simple to make. Key to making beautiful layered drinks is one, great quality ingredients such as 1883 syrups, and two, understanding density.

1883 Maison Routin has been making flavored syrups for 139 years with a mission to put your somewhere between purity and intensity, between emotion and inspiration. With so many flavors and a variety of colors, you’re sure to find the perfect syrup for your next viral recipe.

How To Make Layered Drinks?
In order to make layered drinks, you need to consider the density of each layer. Heavier layers will be at the bottom and lighter layers float to the top. The simplest way to change the density of a liquid is to add a sweetener like a flavored syrup, just like the Rose Latte example below. Just shake or stir in flavored syrup in your milk or non-dairy beverage and anything you pour on top will just separate to the top.
