Karat Earth Bagasse Plates are the perfect eco-friendly alternative to styrofoam. Bagasse is made from sugar cane fibers that are left over after the extraction of the sugar. These fibers are strong and durable making them a great source of sustainable material for food packaging. Bagasse is microwave safe and will not emit any toxic fumes. Our Bagasse line of food container and tableware is BPI-Certified compostable and biodegradable.
