After cooking, these boba have to soak in sugar syrup to give them the sweetness and prevent them from hardening or sticking. The cooked boba can be stored in syrup for up to 6 hours.

I ordered this during this COVID time not knowing if the store is open or not. They processed my order right away and mailed it. At first i thought how come the shipping is too much but I ordered 2 x 6 lb bags not realizing how heavy they are. The tapioca is very delicate but I'm glad it didn't crumble much with the shipping.
